General

Q. Is PlayerExchange a "keeper" or "franchise" league?
A. Owners that choose to carry their team over from season to season have the option to do so but it is not a requirement.

Q. Does it cost money to play each fantasy football game?
A. No. Games are free.

Q. How many games can I play per week?
A. You can play an unlimited number of games.

Q. What is a "salary cap"?
A. A Salary Cap is used to maintain a level playing field amoung all participants. When you create your team you have a salary cap of $75 million to draft your initial roster. Your salary cap changes as your teams' players' values change with the Market.

Q. What does the term "Available Salary Cap" mean?
A. Your available salary cap displays how much you can spend on signing players.

Q. What is a player's "Player Value"?
A. A player's value is represented in millions (M) and is the amount it would cost to sign (add) that player to your roster. It also represents how much money would be returned to your salary cap if you released the player.

Q. What is "Team Value" and why does it matter?
A. Your Team Value is simply the sum of the value of each one of your current players. Team Value is figured into your team's Network Ranking (although it does not affect your ranking near as much as wins and losses).

Q. Is there a limit for my salary cap or Team Value?
A. No. (Although higher team values usually represent how effective an Owner has been at signing and releasing the right players at the right time.)

Finding Opponents/ Challenging

Q. How do I find an opponent?
A. Use the Team Directory (click the blue tab) to search for and challenge viable opponents.

Q. Who can I challenge?
A. You can challenge anyone within the PlayerExchange Network by using the Team Directory. You can also email challenges to any friend or coworker with an email account. Use the Email Challenge Tool to email challenges.

Q. Can I cancel or delete a challenge?
A. Yes. Simply go to the Outgoing Challenges section of your Team Overview page. Click the "Withdraw Challenge" link.

Q. How many challenges can I send out?
A. Unlimited.

Q. When is the weekly cut-off time for sending and accepting challenges?
A. One hour before the first game of the week.

Games

Q. How are games set up?
A. Games are scheduled when one owner sends a challenge to another owner and the challenge is accepted.

Q. Can I cancel a game?
A. No. Games can not be cancelled to prevent people from canceling games due to injuries or recent player news.

Q. How do I know if one of my teams has been challenged?
A. You will receive an incoming challenge on your Team Overview page. If you have the setting turned on in your Owner Profile you will also receive an email alert.

Rosters/Starters

Q. How many players can I have on my roster?
A. When you create your team you have a salary cap of $75 million to draft your initial roster of at least 12 players. After that you may add an unlimited number of players to your roster (you'll need the available salary cap).

Q. What is the minimum number of players I can have on my roster?
A. You must always have at least enough players to field a starting line up (1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D) to send or receive challenges.

Q. How do I set my starting roster?
A. Use the Starters/Schedule page to set your starters. Your depth chart is used to set your default starters when challenges are accepted.  Any changes to your depth chart after a game is scheduled will not change your starters.   You must use the Starters/Schedule page.

Q. What determines which players on my team are eligible to start for a specific game?
A. Any players you had on your team when the challenge was issued are eligible for that game.

Q. Is there a way to set my starting lineup for all my games?
A. Yes, go to the Starting Roster Grid and use the "apply depth chart" feature.

Q. If I released a player who was eligible for a scheduled game, can I use him if I sign him again?
A. Yes. He must be signed and set as a starter at least 5 minute before his game starts.

Q. What is a "non-eligible" player?
A. A non-eligible player is a player that was signed after the game was scheduled.

Q. How do I add/drop (sign/release) a player?
A. Simply click sign/release player in the top or left navigation.

Emailing Challenges

Q. How can I get my friends involved with the PlayerExchange Network?
A. You can email challenges to any friend with an email account. Use the Email Challenge Tool to email challenges.

Q. What is a Network Ranking?
